We love getting off the beaten track, connecting with local people and discovering the many different sides of Africa. Our adventures are carefully planned, with plenty of room for spontaneity!
Most of our travellers join solo, but soon become part of a welcoming, down-to-earth group of friends. Think of it as booking a holiday with friends you haven’t met yet!

MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Helen!
In 2009, I set off on a six-month solo adventure through Africa, with no idea just how much it would change my life. I fell in love with the continent, its people, cultures, wildlife and the incredible experiences I had along the way.
I founded Rock My Adventure in 2016 because I wanted to share that love of Africa and help others experience the magic of travelling here, bringing together like-minded people for unforgettable adventures.
Since that first trip, I’ve explored 19 African countries, led more than 55 group adventures, organised countless private trips and made lifelong friends along the way. And the best part? I now get to help other people do the same!
When I’m not leading tours, you’ll usually find me scouting new destinations, catching up with old friends across Africa, researching unique experiences or sharing my adventures through my travel blog, Helen in Wonderlust.
